The walnut version is butcher block. This option is beautiful with varying colors of walnut in each piece.
The maple version is truly handmade from start to finish. Meaning that this maple is sourced from trees that either I, or the wind took down on my own property. From there i chainsaw milled those trees and kiln dried the slabs prior to making items from them. Truly a conversation starter with your friends and family!
Please expect variance in appearance from item to item. Some maple might be clear grain and some might have burl. Some might have knots and some might not, as examples.
